Ashwagandha gets most of the attention. It shows up in everything from tablets to teas. So when people see it on the label of JeevaFit Hero Gain, they tend to stop there. But two of the other herbs in the formula, Vidhara and Vidarikand, deserve a closer look, because they are less talked about and arguably more interesting.
Vidhara (Argyreia nervosa)
Also known as Elephant Creeper, Vidhara is one of the rasayana herbs in Ayurveda. Rasayana is the branch that deals with vitality and long-term strength. In traditional use, Vidhara is associated with general vigour. In Hero Gain it represents the energy and vitality side of the formula, at 125 mg of extract per capsule.
Vidarikand (Pueraria tuberosa)
A tuber that traditional texts describe as nourishing. It is often mentioned in connection with building strength and supporting overall nourishment. That is why it earns a place in a formula meant for people who are trying to put on weight in a healthy way.
Ashwagandha, in context
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is traditionally used for strength, stamina and for coping with daily stress. Some small studies have looked at it in connection with stress and recovery after exercise, but the evidence is still developing and results vary. It works best alongside good food, training and sleep.

Why four, not forty?
It is easy to be impressed by a label with dozens of ingredients. JeevaFit took a simpler route. Four extracts, 125 mg each, each with a stated role: Chitraka for appetite, Vidhara for energy, Ashwagandha for recovery and Vidarikand for nourishment. It is easier to understand, and easier to ask questions about.
